Congratulations to Guillaume Marcaud on his new position as a quantum scientist at Amazon! Dr. Marcaud became a postdoctoral research fellow in the Ahn Lab after receiving his Ph.D. from Paris-Saclay University, France. His work focuses on epitaxial thin films, from the growth and study of fundamental phenomena by synchrotron-based method to the development of innovative devices. Dr. Marcaud will join December 2021 the AWS Center for Quantum Computing, a partnership between Caltech and Amazon, to develop new materials for quantum technology.
